Colin Montgomerie enjoyed one of the most dominant runs in European Tour history during his time as a Callaway Staff Pro, and he’s back on Staff with the Company for 2012. The eight-time European Tour Order of Merit winner ranks fourth on the Tour’s all-time win list with 31 victories, and he’s widely considered as one of the greatest Ryder Cup performers of all-time. “Monty” holds a 20-9-7 record in Ryder Cup matches and holed the winning putt for his European Team in 2004. He’s also been voted the EPGA Player of the Year four times during his illustrious career.

 

Montgomerie is proud to be a Staff Pro once again and he’s said, “I won five Order of Merits in a row with Callaway equipment and seen the equipment and what’s to come as well. From what I’ve seen from the Company, I made that decision to go back again. It’s a little bit back to the future, really, and it’s super.” Colin lives with his wife and three children in Scotland. He also uses an Odyssey Putter in competition.
