DID YOU KNOW

Aaron Watkins enjoyed his best year on the Nationwide Tour in 2011. He posted five top-15 finishes and set a career high in season earnings. Born in Winter Park, FL Watkins played his college golf at Kansas State before turning pro in 2004. Aaron played on the PGA Tour in 2009, where he recorded a T7 finish at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
 
Watkins started playing golf at 14 while growing up in Alta Mesa, AZ and his favorite course to play is Spyglass Hill. His favorite sports team is the Arizona Diamondbacks and his favorite movie is Wedding Crashers. Watkins was twice named to the all-state and all-region team at Red Mountain High School.
