DID YOU KNOW

After years of grinding it out on the mini tours, Derek Lamely made a name for himself on the Nationwide Tour in 2009 with five top-10 finishes, including a win. The Texas native notched his first career victory at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Invitational. Derek says his best moment on the golf course was securing his card for the 2010 PGA Tour season; he quickly followed that up with a victory at the 2010 Puerto Rico Open, using an Odyssey Putter. A 2003 graduate of Florida Gulf Coast College, Derek recorded his first hole-in-one on the PGA Tour during the first round of the 2010 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. He was a member of the Texas state championship team at Montgomery High School.
